MWSF 08 Top 10 Rumors

With MWSF starting next week, and new Mac Pros released this past week... the rumor mills are churning. Here's a recap of the top 10.

1. New ultraportable laptop: This has been a persistent rumor for quite some time. Could we finally be seeing the replacement to the 12" PowerBook?

2. New tablet Mac: Some sources say the new ultraportable Mac will be touch controlled like an iPhone.

3. iOffice: Apple may be releasing a viable M$ Office alternative. Think of it as iWork on steroids.

4. Phenomenon application: This is another persistent rumor. What is the next Apple pro app going to be?

5. Expanded iPhone line: Some say the iPhone is such a success, that Apple will be releasing an entire line of phones.

6. New cinema displays & iSights: I really hope this one is true because it's long overdue!

7. New iMacs: This rumor has persisted, thought the iMacs seem less likely to me.

8. New Mac mini (nano): Some say the Mac mini is due for an upgrade, others say it is going to be replaced with a new Mac called the Mac nano.

9. New headless Mac: This is a rumor that's got less traction, but some claim Apple will be releasing a tower Mac that fits somewhere between the Mac mini and the Mac Pro.

10. Apple gaming console: This has been a fairly recent rumor, but I have heard talk that Apple wants to release a gaming console to compete with the Xbox.
