MWSF 08 Concludes

The Macworld Expo has concluded and we start the countdown to next year.

As MWSF draws to a close, we some some new hardware releases from Apple and a lot of happy Mac fans. The big news of the keynote was: Updated iPod touch/iPhone applications, a new version of the AppleTV, a new version of iTunes including video rentals, a new network applicance called Time Capsule, and a new ultraportable laptop dubbed the MacBook Air. This is a huge improvement over last year's keynote which left Mac fans wondering... "where are the Macs?" Just a week prior to MWSF, Apple updated the Mac Pro line. However, Mac mini, Cinema Displays, and MacBook Pro did not make an appearance at MWSF. These may be coming in early 2008.
