Install Those DST Patches
Don't forget to patch your Mac for Daylight
Savings Time!
First off, Apple included the DST updates in the 10.4.5 and 10.4.6 updates, which was very cool of them. If
you are running a version of Mac OS X later than 10.4.4, you should be okay.
However, they still recommend that all Tiger users upgrade to 10.4.8 and install
the latest DST Patch (even if you live in
Arizona).
Follow these easy steps to make sure your Mac is up to date for DST:
1. If you're running Mac OS X 10.4, download and install this patch for DST (NOTE: you must first install the 10.4.8 update for PPC or Intel)
2. If you're running Mac OS X 10.3, download and install this patch for DST (NOTE: you must first install the 10.3.9 update)
3. If you're running a version of Mac OS X previous to 10.3.9 (10.0.0-10.3.8), download and install this patch for DST
4. Relax tonight when the clocks change because your Mac won't be effected
