MacBook Pros Updated!
Apple has updated the MacBook
Pro line... and before WWDC!
The MacBook Pro line was updated yesterday, and
this was a huge surprise to everyone considering WWDC is
less than a week away. Many of the rumors pointed to new MacBook Pros at WWDC,
but apparently this is not the case. The new laptops ship in three standard
configurations:
1. 15" display, 2.2 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 120 GB HDD, $1999
2. 15" display, 2.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, $2499
3. 17" display, 2.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, $2799
All models include 802.11n networking, GeForce 8600N graphics, ExpressCard/34 slot, and a built-in iSight. As usual, build to order models are also available. New models are in stock and shipping in 1 to 5 business days. Though this is arguably a speed bump, and not a new Mac... it does raise the question of what is coming at WWDC? Hopefully a NEW Mac... we can hope.
