Best Mac Quarter Ever... Again!
Apple released their quarterly results today...
yet another record breaking quarter.
Apple's latest quarterly results show a gross
profit of $5.41 billion with a net profit of $818 million, compared to a gross
profit of $4.37 billon and $472 million net profit just one year ago. In
addition, Apple shipped 1.76 million Macs this quarter making it the best Mac
quarter EVER! These numbers even exceed the last holiday quarter, which is quite
an achievement for any technology company. Keep in mind that the iPhone did
not ship until the very end of the quarter. “We’re thrilled to
report the highest June quarter revenue and profit in Apple’s history,
along with the highest quarterly Mac sales ever,” said Steve Jobs.
“iPhone is off to a great start, we hope to sell our one-millionth iPhone
by the end of its first full quarter of sales and our new product pipeline is
very strong.” Maybe now the rumors of Apple going out of business will
finally stop.
